One journal article, “Biglobal input–output analysis of separated flow over a periodic hill“, has been published in Flow!

Two journal articles, “Structured input–output analysis of compliant wall turbulence” and “Hydrodynamic properties of a flexible pipe in bidirectionally sheared flows undergoing vortex-induced vibration” have been published in Journal of Fluid Mechanics!

Dr. Liu gave three seminars at the University of Rhode Island, the UConn Department of Marine Sciences, and the UConn Department of Mathematics.

Zhengyang and Zekai will join Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Northwestern University as PhD students! Zheng and Leran will both join University of Southern California as a Master student!

Dr. Liu is honored to receive the National Science Foundation CAREER Award!
